The Sound Of Magic - Do you believe in magic? "Annara Sumanara"

I'm still updating my list of movies to see and I concluded this one some weeks ago but yet to write a review on it, I'm glad I'm able to do that now. The title of the drama drew me in immediately I saw it but what made me take the bugger step to see the movie was the lead character, a popular Korean actor whose acting is exceptional to me.

The drama is a full pack of musicals and magic drama, a sweet watch for kids among family. It isn't my regular kind of kdrama but I lived every scene until the very end.

"The Sound of Magic" is a 6 episodes drama of a young man who has a mental issue that takes him back to how he thinks when he was a child (believing in magic) he owns a magic necklace that makes some of Magic turn out real but in the same vein, he performs fake magic too.

The fake/real magician meets a young student who is struggling to make money while schooling so she could take care of her sister after her father abandoned them. She finds it hard to believe that magic really does exist but every magic done by the magician got her a step closer to believing that magic really does exist.

There's also two villains in the drama, one is crushing on the lead character and the other is bent on revealing that the magician is a fake... These two make the drama even more fun and thrilling to see.

My review on the drama...

Even though I enjoyed seeing this drama, I can't help but think that it isn't going to be a widely accepted kind of movie genre. A lot of people will think it is too childish and the end part of the movie wasn't really satisfying to me. But then, I can't help but say, I loved how real the magic seemed and the joy that comes up in his face when he is able to convince another to believe in magic.

The musicals got me smiling and wanting to sing along, it reminds me so much of those children poems. The fashion and videography is perfect for the genre, the school scenes also gave me sweet memories.

In essence, the movie gave me good vibes all through and I'd say that it is one of those feelings I love to look out for when I see movies sometimes because most of the times, I see movies to get rid of boredom or sad feelings. This drama gave me all I wanted from a movie at that time.
