Your opinion about this movie is interesting. I've read many others before, but this one piques my interest because of what you said about the Demon Slayer "movies" that were released in theaters before this one. Honestly, I don't know if a theatrical preview is considered a movie, since they're just the first episodes of a season yet to come. And it's not just this anime, the same thing happens with other famous works like Dandadan, for example.

It's just a matter of personal preference, but I don't think watching an episode of an anime in advance in theaters is the same as watching a movie made for the big screen. Obviously, they are two different things and that must always be kept in mind. The Infinite Castle is, for many, like a very long episode. It was also the best movie theater experience for many others.

Well, I'm not saying it's the best anime of all, but the fame and success this anime is having is quite deserved. And I'm not just saying this because of what Ufotable achieved, although they get 80% of the credit, but because the work itself has everything you need to go see it.

Good post.

Not every successful anime is the best anime. Yeah this movie was designed for theatre experience. The story is simple

I know that, there are very famous anime that are far from being the best. Although mostly saying that an anime is "the best" is quite subjective, like any opinion. But hey, to each his own.

When you say that Demon Slayer's story is "simple," what do you mean? What do you think it needs to stop being simple?

(Edited)

I meant the story is very easy to understand, there's no complexity or anything else that needs to make your brain work more.
