En primer lugar, cabe destacar las actuaciones de los actores principales. Emma Stone interpreta de manera magistral a la creación del doctor, transmitiendo de forma convincente la angustia y confusión del personaje.Su actuación logra generar empatía en el espectador y mantenerlo interesado en el desarrollo de la historia.
Por otro lado, Mark Ruffalo sorprende en su papel de abogado vividor, mostrando una faceta oscura y ambigua que contrasta con la imagen pública que suele tener en la pantalla. Ruffalo logra transmitir la ambigüedad moral de su personaje de forma sutil y convincente, lo que añade profundidad a la trama.

Pobres Criaturas presenta 11 nominaciones a los Premios de la Academia, entre las que resalta Mejor Dirección, Mejor Actriz Principal para Emma Stone y mejor actor secundario para Mark Ruffalo.
Una muy buena recomendación para ver antes de la entrega de los premios Oscar.
