Yes, this movie is just awful. It wasn't funny and the cringe moments are something that happens so often. It's like the Wayans are just old and not really up to speed with trends anymore. I didn't make it all the way through the movie an its low rating on the various rating websites is deserved.

Exactly—I think that was precisely the point: the fact that the jokes written by the Wayans brothers were outdated made it clear that if they want to make another movie—which they surely will—they’ll have to step back from their roles as screenwriters to attract new fans, rather than trying to please those who consider themselves loyal to the franchise.
It probably still made money and if that is the case yes, they will keep making more of them just like Grown Ups is awful but it always makes money so screw it, make some more.
good grief, it made $200 million. So yeah, we are going to get more of this slop
