(ENG/SPA) Army of The Dead and My Zombi Queen
Army of The Dead maneja el concepto de zombis y pienso que lo ha hecho muy bien en especial con una de ellas por quien inclino mi rodilla, mi amada Reina Zombi. Estos monstruos especiales le dan su pequeña huella digital a la película sobre estos zombis erráticos que terminan consumiendo poblaciones enteras. Una trama bastante sencilla que en este caso disfruto porque quiero ver el despliegue zombi y siento que fue un muy buen entretenimiento por la habilidades que tienen, los personajes principales vaya que fueron muchos y es la debilidad de la película porque hay varios de ellos que son innecesarios, el problema es que uno de ellos es principal a la trama.
El manejo de colores es espectacular, Viva Las Vegas y sus calles llenas de zombis. Veo muchos colores vivos y personajes que con su vestimenta, maquillaje, peinados y personalidad están en armonía para llamar la mayor atención posible del espectador y en mi caso lo logran, veo los posters y quedo maravillado sobre todo porque me encanta el morado y este color prevalece.
Film bastante ambicioso de Zack Snyder que busca expandirse como franquicia y pienso tiene lo básico necesario para llamar la atención de una audiencia que quiera disfrutar del mundo de lo zombis, en mi caso soy fan de ellos y ver que se generen mas films, series o animaciones en torno a ellos me alegra porque son mis monstruos favoritos.
Recuerdo cuando vi Night of the Living Dead estando pequeño y eso hace que aprecie mucho este tipo de películas a pesar de que en este caso solo busca una excusa para llenar de acción la pantalla. En el aspecto audiencia general que solo busca divertirse, la película encaja aun mas porque se encontraran una historia bastante fácil de digerir y esto último vaya que le encanta al espectador general de hoy día.
Mi puntuación para la película en esta zona sin spoilers es un fantástico 6 chiquitos de 10 ya que el concepto zombis lo maneja muy bien y cuando veo este tipo de películas, eso es lo que mas me preocupa y en el film da mucho para desarrollar y ver, de hecho es lo que le falta a la película cosa de la cual no culpo porque su idea es expandirse como franquicia. Si no eres sensible y buscas entretenerte, te recomiendo totalmente esta película.
Army of The Dead handles the concept of zombies and I think it has done it very well especially with one of them for whom I bow my knee, my beloved Zombie Queen. These special monsters give their little fingerprint to the film about these erratic zombies that end up consuming entire populations. A fairly simple plot that in this case I enjoy because I want to see the zombie deployment and I feel it was a very good entertainment because of the skills they have, the main characters wow there were many and it is the weakness of the film because there are several of them that are unnecessary, the problem is that one of them is main to the plot.
The color management is spectacular, Viva Las Vegas and its streets full of zombies. I see many bright colors and characters that with their clothing, makeup, hairstyles and personality are in harmony to attract the greatest possible attention of the viewer and in my case they succeed, I see the posters and I am amazed especially because I love purple and this color prevails.
Zack Snyder quite ambitious film that seeks to expand as a franchise and I think it has the basics needed to draw the attention of an audience that wants to enjoy the world of zombies, in my case I'm a fan of them and see more films, series or animations generated around them makes me happy because they are my favorite monsters.
I remember when I saw Night of the Living Dead when I was a kid and that makes me appreciate this kind of movies even though in this case it only looks for an excuse to fill the screen with action. In the general audience aspect that is just looking to have fun, the movie fits even more because they will find a fairly easy to digest story and this last one really appeals to today's general viewer.
My score for the film in this spoiler free zone is a fantastic 6 out of 10 as the zombie concept is handled very well and when I see this type of film, that is what I am most concerned about and the film gives a lot to develop and see, in fact that is what the film lacks which I don't blame it for because its idea is to expand as a franchise. If you are not sensitive and are looking to be entertained, I totally recommend this movie.
Empieza la reseña con spoilers donde comentare esa escena y personaje que mas me agradaron con detalles críticos a la película y su desarrollo de trama.
La escena que mas me gusto incluye al personaje que me maravillo en el film y es portada de esta reseña La Reina Zombi, que manera de moverse, parece que estuviera danzando con el horror, el trabajo de dirección mas ejecución de la actriz Athena Perample han hecho que me enamore de este personaje, sus ropas de bailarina en Las Vegas con ese maquillaje perfecto hacen que entre en la película de lleno.
La Reina Zombi tiene personalidad. Ese es el gran acierto del film, en el mundo de los zombis hay distintos tipos, mis favoritos son los clásicos de movimientos erráticos y lentos, cuando ya corren me cuesta un poco creerme ese mundo apocalíptico porque no veo posibilidad de que la gente viva pero en esta película le dan personalidad al zombi haciendo que me olvide de ese detalle y me interese conocer los propósitos de ese personaje.
Es regla de zombis tener que comer seres humanos vivos basándose muchos films en que es una característica instintiva de todo ser el comer, en este film amplían ese espectro primitivo y lo llevan a un reino animal en el que hay un territorio, hay una manada y por lo tanto tiene que haber un líder, Un Alpha cuyo objetivo es dejar prole para la mejora de la especie, esto último es el Rol de La Reina Zombi ya que ella estaba embarazada del Rey de los Zombis.
Nombre que el acierto del film es esto que acabo de describir pero a la vez es su debilidad porque es precisamente lo que no desarrollan, pienso que sí la película fuera explotado un poco más el personaje de La Reina Zombi, el film mejoraría muchísimo porque es precisamente ella lo que engancha en el film plus el destello visual del TIgre Zombi que Luce impresionante PERO me hace falta mas de ella, le cortan la cabeza demasiado rápido y pasa la mayoría del film encerrada su cabeza en una bolsa.
El Rey Zombi también me agrada mucho porque es un Alpha en todo el poder de la palabra pero termina convirtiéndose en un zombi mas que solo quiere matar al saber que su hijo murió a causa de este grupo de mercenarios entonces tiene mucho para dar el personaje pero la trama lo lleva demasiado rápido a matar y ya.
Cuando la Reina se lleva a Cummings que es el que explotaba a la gente en las afueras de Las Vegas y se lo presenta al Rey Zombi, es donde vemos el potencial de estos dos personajes porque sin hablar racionalmente, establecen comunicación y la química entre ellos dos es máxima y eso llega a la audiencia porque es lo que agrado del film, pienso eso se pudo explotar mucho mas pero claro la película esta saturada con la trama de Kate y su padre Ward.
La película maneja muchas tramas entonces no se deja desarrollar, opino que la trama con la cabeza de La Reina Zombi fuera sido suficiente para el film y debió haber sido el centro sobre el que giraran los demás personajes, El Rey Zombi al que muerde se convierte en un zombi especial, desarrollar entonces mas zombis especiales que tuvieran conflicto con los personajes principales fuera sido genial de ver.
El punto es que estos Zombis me dejaron con ganas de mucho mas de ellos y eso también hay que decir es bueno porque quiere decir que el director y actores ejecutaron bien los personajes, solo dejo como crítica que su trama debió haber sido el verdadero núcleo de la película
La manera en que Batalla El Rey Zombi para hacer cumplir su venganza inspira, hay momentos que pienso estoy con el ya que le mataron su hijo, el solo cuida su territorio y unos invasores vienen a destruir lo que con tanto esfuerzo ha construido, es increíble pero estos do personajes La Reina y EL Rey tienen un carácter que traspasa la pantalla.

The scene that I liked the most includes the character that amazed me in the film and is the cover of this review The Zombie Queen, the way she moves, it seems that she is dancing with horror, the work of direction and execution of the actress Athena Perample have made me fall in love with this character, her clothes of a dancer in Las Vegas with that perfect makeup make me enter the film fully.
The Zombie Queen has personality. That is the great success of the film, in the world of zombies there are different types, my favorites are the classic erratic and slow movements, when they run I find it a little hard to believe that apocalyptic world because I see no possibility that people live but in this film they give personality to the zombie making me forget that detail and I'm interested in knowing the purposes of that character.
It is a rule of zombies to have to eat living human beings based on many films that it is an instinctive characteristic of all beings to eat, in this film they expand that primitive spectrum and take it to an animal kingdom in which there is a territory, there is a herd and therefore there has to be a leader, an Alpha whose goal is to leave offspring for the betterment of the species, the latter is the role of The Zombie Queen since she was pregnant with the King of the Zombies.
I name that the success of the film is what I just described but at the same time is its weakness because it is precisely what they do not develop, I think that if the film was exploited a little more the character of the Zombie Queen, the film would improve a lot because it is precisely her what engages in the film plus the visual flash of the Zombie King who looks impressive but I need more of her, they cut her head too fast and she spends most of the film locked her head in a bag.
The Zombie King also pleases me a lot because he is an Alpha in all the power of the word but ends up becoming just another zombie who just wants to kill knowing that his son died because of this group of mercenaries so he has a lot to give the character but the plot takes him too fast to kill and that's it.
When the Queen takes Cummings who is the one who exploited the people in the outskirts of Las Vegas and introduces him to the Zombie King, is where we see the potential of these two characters because without speaking rationally, they establish communication and chemistry between them is maximum and that reaches the audience because that is what pleased the film, I think that could be exploited much more but of course the film is saturated with the plot of Kate and her father Ward.
The film handles many plots so it doesn't let it develop, I think that the plot with the head of the Zombie Queen would have been enough for the film and should have been the center around which the other characters revolve, The Zombie King who bites becomes a special zombie, then developing more special zombies that had conflict with the main characters would have been great to see.
The point is that these Zombies left me wanting a lot more of them and that also has to be said is good because it means that the director and actors executed the characters well, I just leave as a criticism that their plot should have been the real core of the movie.
The way in which The Zombie King battles to enforce his revenge is inspiring, there are moments that I think I am with him since they killed his son, he only cares for his territory and some invaders come to destroy what he has built with so much effort, it is incredible but these two characters The Queen and The King have a character that transcends the screen.
El film entre sus distintos enfoques tiene uno que es el familiar, pienso que el director además de transmitir acción, quería tocar el corazón del espectador usando el aspecto familiar y es en este desarrollo donde el film se cae porque no tengo nada de simpatía por el personaje de Kate que es la hija de Ward, su trama de sufrimiento familiar sinceramente no me interesan para nada y menos aun la pésima razón por la cual Kate arriesga su vida y la de los demás que es para salvar al personaje de Geeta, esto es un sin sentido que si pudiera lo borrara del film.
Tal vez suene exagerado pero cuando pienso en todos esos minutos de trama y drama familiar, quiero es eliminar ese personaje de Kate y darle mas protagonismo y desarrollo al personaje de Chambers que es la muchacha que da batalla contra los zombis, ella me agrado, ese modo en que peleo hasta el final y esta bien que Martin le quitara el rastro para que se perdiera y fuera asesinada por los zombis pero un poco mas de ella me fuera gustado.
El film quiere dar mucho y no era necesario porque tiene de mas, tiene muchos personajes que cuando los veo son buenísimos para sacar mucho mas en la franquicia pero en lo que es esta película, tengo que evaluar lo que vi y es menos Kate y mas del personaje llamado María Cruz, esa parte sentimental si que me agrado y me dio mucha tristeza el verla morir, en Ward y María Cruz se debió centrar la película si quería desarrollar un impacto emocional de tristeza en el espectador.
Todos los demás del equipo se manejan bien, la amistad entre Vanderohe y Dieter que se desarrolla muy bien en el film ya que al principio no se agradaban y terminaron dando la vida el uno por el otro haciendo que la película termine con un Vanderohe vivo pero infectado, eso me gusto pero claro había que darle muchos minutos a Kate y su trama extraña con la extranjera que hacen el film pierda fuerza innecesariamente.
En conclusión una película bastante entretenida de ver con unos antagonistas zombis que tienen mucha personalidad, un grupo de mercenarios en los que la mayoría tienen unas personalidades encantadoras que logran mezclarse con el resto de personajes en el equipo, todo lo anterior aplica excepto con Kate y hacen que le de al film un poderoso seis chiquitos de diez por ser extremadamente entretenida y que no busca nada mas que entretener.
Dedicados todos y cada uno de mis post y videos a mi perrita llamada princesa que le decíamos chiquito que ya no está con nosotros pero desde el cielo ella verá que su existencia SI fue valiosa y lo más bonito que existirá en mi corazón y en mi alma.

The film wants to give a lot and it was not necessary because it has too much, it has many characters that when I see them are great to get much more in the franchise but in what is this film, I have to evaluate what I saw and it is less Kate and more of the character named Maria Cruz, that sentimental part if I liked and gave me a lot of sadness to see her die, in Ward and Maria Cruz should have focused the film if I wanted to develop an emotional impact of sadness in the viewer.
All the other members of the team are handled well, the friendship between Vanderohe and Dieter that develops very well in the film since at the beginning they did not like each other and ended up giving their lives for each other making the film end with a Vanderohe alive but infected, I liked that but of course they had to give many minutes to Kate and her strange plot with the foreigner that make the film lose strength unnecessarily.
In conclusion a pretty entertaining film to watch with zombie antagonists that have a lot of personality, a group of mercenaries in which most of them have charming personalities that manage to blend in with the rest of the characters in the team, all of the above applies except with Kate and make me give the film a powerful six out of ten for being extremely entertaining and that seeks nothing more than to entertain.

hey Big oy @promete0sz I really liked this movie and defended it from the negative reviews it received from a large sector of the public that is anti-Zack Snyder. It is a movie to enjoy, a heist story set in an apocalyptic world with zombies. I had fun with the whole story. I also saw the prequel Army of Thieves and am looking forward to the third film. Snyder stated that it's going to be completely insane, maybe with time travel and aliens hahahahaha to keep the Snyder haters suffering.

No quise tocar eso en la reseña porque se lleva 1000 palabras y queria hablar de lo que vi en la película, eso que nombras quiero hablarlo en una review aparte sobre Snyder porque no lo veo correcto que una persona diga algo es malo solo porque el director es Zack SNyder y ni siquiera ven el producto, eso es hate y lo veo injusto. Que venga mas de esto es lo importante porque es super entretenido, su objetivo es ese y lo logra. Si te adelanto que lo veo como un dios porque soy muy visual y su poderío artístico máximo es en lo visual... SNYDER CARAJO!!!

Yo tambipen y me encanto, por eso es lo que mas me guto de la película, ese concepto animal esta muy bien aplicado a los zombis, no te retare pero te obligare veas alguna :D
Army of the Dead es muy divertida y entretenida, en mi opinión es un homenaje de Zack hacia ALIENS de James Cameron; tiene un gran parecido en toda su historia.
Los Zombies son fantásticos, ese asunto de que existan diferentes tipos dependiendo de cuando y quién los infectó me parece algo adecuado; ahora lo de esta película con sus secretos y teorías es lo que más he disfrutado y es que todo eso que supuestamente estos mercenarios están atrapados en un loop es algo que espero en algún momento se resuelva y espero que el año próximo sea el estreno de la secuela de este film.
Esperaba que el anime que es parte de esta historia se estrene este año, seguramente entre julio o agosto pueda ser vista en Netflix para revivir nuevamente todas esas teorías.

Eeeejele muchachon Nameless :D , fijate no sabía de esa perspetiva hacia Alien y me agrada, Snyder sus trabajos dejan muchos easter eggs y referenias, una hacia alien, genial.
Disfrute mucho las personalidades de los zombis, quiero ver mas de eso que me pareció un gran acierto porque amplia el potencial de los zombis sin hacerlos invencibles porque igual un tiro en la cabeza y adios PERO les da estrategia y eso en mi caso me agrada porque es como una guerra.

Seré sincera es la primera vez que la escucho, y no me han llamado mucho la atención nunca el tema de zombies, aunque debo reconocer el maquillaje y vestuario perfecto que se utiliza en muchas de esas películas y series.
A jugar por las imágenes me encanta como esta realizado ese rostro, excelente, la verdad.

ajajajaj no me gusta... ME ENCANTAAAAN lo zombis, seguir en vida despues de muerto QUe LocuraX. Si, en este caso la vestimenta es una pasada, una genialidad, a pesar de o grotezco, se nota la actriz es preciosa porque hasta con todo ese maquillaje encima, se ve linda ajajaj
