It is shocking to see how this Venezuelan filmmaker represented in images the work of the men in the salt of Araya and at the same time I read your opinion in which you tell us that basically they are still equal. ....

It is sad to see how the work seems to be a form of light slavery, those men with bare hands or shovels carrying the salt, they also work in the desert for the excavations in the Valley of the Kings but with sand, only with the salt it impacts because I do not think it is very healthy and that's where I say to myself when I complain about my pc that those are very hard jobs 😨.

A visionary woman, this is a gift that few are born with, it is seen that she did not seek to represent anything, it is seen that she sought to film the poetry of the realities in which through her she sought to leave a legacy and it is seen that she has achieved it, nice to know part of her work through your review while also a little of its history, I am taking my first steps as a cinephile and leaves a mark on my mind to read the life of this great woman, thanks for sharing 🙏

Thank you for your thoughtful and comprehensive comment. Yes, it was brutal work. It has changed now that it has been mechanized. However, the area remains largely forgotten and neglected. Best regards, @promete0sz.
