Here, our hero, Harlan Thrombey, gets a death truly worthy of one of the most famous and successful crime novel authors. The crime and drama movie grafted with comedy Knives Out, in which Detective Benoit Blank will accompany us for about two hours trying to reach the correct answer to the question: Did Harlan Thrombey commit suicide, as it seems, or did he die a premeditated murder?
Knives Out is just as fun as it should be, but we really do pay tribute here. Rian in presenting an elaborate plot, and full of comedy, which added a lot to the script, to make the film come out in the end pleasant and interesting, carrying surprises that keep the viewer alert and enthusiastic from the beginning of the events to their end.
The wonderful plot that did not underestimate the mind of the viewer alone was not the reason for the success of the film and achieving high revenues in the first days of its presentation, in addition to that, the acting performance of the heroes of the work was very good despite the small spaces of some roles here, but the script written very cleverly succeeded in giving its heroes Moments of brilliance preserved each character's presence and attractiveness.
In spite of that, I am not here to talk about the wonderful performance of the film’s heroes. The biggest surprise is that the heroes are presented with somewhat different roles than what was previously presented. It is a rediscovery and a first step after which we expect more successful steps in the future, especially “Ana de Armas” in The role of "Marta Cabrera" who gives the best and most convincing performance here, especially with her inability to lie, which gave her the impression of childishness, likable and close to the heart.
Usually, filming locations participate in these types of films, which was not achieved here as often despite the beautiful filming atmosphere. However, the luxurious Gothic-designed palace was hidden behind the presence of its residents and could not impose a personality of the place as it should be, perhaps this was due to Because the film is stacked with events and surprises that appear one after another in a way that does not allow the viewer an opportunity to contemplate that wonderful picture, with which the filmmakers and producer "David Crank" deserves a great tribute in appreciation of the wonderful effort made to show the place in that image that did not take its right to display properly.
Fun movie as it should be but...?
With all of the above mentioned here, we can say that the movie deserves the title of a wonderful and distinctive movie without controversy as the viewer will find what he likes in it, as the movie is full of talk about wonderful social situations and immigrants and such films attract you in a very special way and make you yearn to watch it in full regardless Regardless of any boredom that may occur during the course of events.
Perhaps the purpose of its placement was to add some weight to the film to allow it to catch up with the awards and festivals whose films are usually chosen more deeply than ours today "Knives Out" because some critics think that comedies and simple films are less important than films The complex psychological drama, which I do not agree with at all. The magic of cinema and its most important message is to bring happiness and pleasure to the viewer, which is what Knives Out definitely achieved for us here.
Finally, we can say that the movie is one of the best films of 2019, and brings to the cinema of the year the required diversity and fully deserves to be commended for it and its makers. Although I don't think that will ever happen.
