This is one of my favorites and have seen multiple times, always had fun time watching this movie again and again.
Once there was a time when I used to watch three movies a day. Used to search for the movies and download them in the day time. After midnight, watch movies till 5-6 in the morning.

I am a horror movie fan but seeing the reviews of this movie, I downloaded and watched it at night in 2009. It was way more impressive and interesting than mentioned in the reviews.
There are plenty of messages and lessons one can learn and implement in the real life in order to achieve the goals.

The story is about a passenger from eastern Europe who got trapped at New York airport, one the busiest airports in USA. While he was in the flight, war broke out in his country and US rejected to recognizes the nation as a sovereign nation.
As a result, his currency and passport were void, hence unable to get entry in the US and cannot go back home. This was very critical situation but the way he handled and lived with it, that is all which makes this movie one of my favorites.

I have experience of waiting at the airport for next connecting flight maximum of 9 hours. It looks good for couple of hours but after that it becomes really hard to spend the remaining time. So, thinking of above situation makes me sick and dead.
Although one can survive the situation in any condition but the way he showed us to live is very impressive and outstanding.

Almost all the characters played their role perfectly well. I liked the role of Frank Dixon LOL the Acting Field Commissioner of the airport.

Tom Hanks was amazing with his acting and did superb job as if he is really from Russia side, the speaking style and tone was well played.

The movie gives a positive vibe and shows us how to be happy in each and every situation no matter how hard the time is rolling you. Other thing, a man can earn in any situation, just be patient, keep your mind and eyes open and wait for the right opportunity.

One of the best lesson what I get is if you are right and do not have malignity for others, you will get what you want, no matter how powerful your opponent is.
The field commissioner tried all options to defeat and get rid of the stuck passenger but he was patriotic and never gave up. In addition, he helped others who were in need which was the reflection of his golden heart.
It also shows the everlasting love and respect he had for his parents. The most important part is: he was all in this crucial situation just to fulfill the wish of his father. It is so fascinating to know the reason of his visit to the US.

These moral messages reflect how one should behave in life. It has a beautiful impact on my life and gives me strength to think positive at times when needed the most.

Recently, I come to know that this movie is inspired by a true story of Mehran Karimi Nasseri, also knows as Sir Alfred, who stayed at Paris airport for 18 years. However, the plot and reasons were totally different.

It is to be noted that none of my friends liked this movie instead shared negative feedback :( boring, slow blah blah
The fact is its funny and gets interesting scene by scene, loves the story-line.

I would recommend all of you to watch this fantastic movie and share the feedback in comments. Cheers!!!!
