A Great weekend is spending time outside, walk in nature, hanging
with family and friends.
BUT... Then sometimes
I love having a relaxing Nice movie
weekend to, and it is safe to say that
Im kind of a movie freak 😜 lol
And I think most of us have our
favorite movies, some that we have memories attached to or just like.
I have many favorites but one that
stands out as it is one I watched the
most growing up... Is this one.
Edward Scissorhands
A beautiful love story and also
kind of Pinocchio alike ish.
Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder is
perfect in this movie and a big
part of why I love this movie
so much and rewatched it.
But before I go deeper into what it is about, I also have a badass thing
to share with you guys.

Edward Scissorhands
What is it about?
It is about this guy Edward who was
made (like Pinocchio) by a old
man who passed before he
had time to finnish him.
In Edwards case it was the hands
that got unfinnished, and he wears
those sharp long Scissorhands
instead of real hands.
He had been isolated in a big dark castle for many years before a kind woman (Dianne West) finally comes to his
place (selling makeup), and feel
sorry for him so she takes him
home and let him Stay.
It took a while for people in their neighbourhood to warm up to him,
but as time goes they realize he is
good for many things with his
long Scissorhands ✂️
He does Wonders in the garden and creates incredleble human and
animal figures of trees and
bushes all over.
I would love to have a sexy Edward Scissorhand in my garden 😜 Buwahahaha
He also got good at cutting the hair
of many ladies in the movie, he
did styles noone ever seen
before but it got popular.
Even did the dogs trimming to
in funny styles.. Hilarious!
It is a beautiful movie, and also have
lots of humor and some sad parts to,
but what I remember most growing
up watching it was how sad I got
when he got used by some
people just for being so
kind and innocent.
And wrongly accused of things he
didn't do, made me angry and I
wanted to hug him and protect
him from them 🤗

Love story
This is my favorite part
When he meets the daughter (Winona Ryder) for the first time, they scare each other as it is the middle of the night
and she didn't know anyone be in
her room when she sneaked in.
So it ends with him getting so scared
that he accidentally puncture her
water bed and Water sprays
everywhere 😂 Hahahaha
That part cracked me up good,
especially cause of his funny
Surprise expression.
Ofcourse she warms up to him over time and there is this ONE part in the movie that just gets me all warm and fuzzy EVERY TIME 🥰
When he makes the snow Angel 😇
Such a beautiful view 😍
It is snowing ice flings all over the
place and looks like snow.
And as much as I love that, it is
Winonas face that just makes
this part so special.
Her smile and happy face 😊
The magic feeling he creates
Catching.. touching
And happily dancing her way
around and around..
That is when he wins her ❤️
And that is my favorite part in
the whole movie, the magic he
creates for her and her happy
glowing face response.
I LOVE IT ALOT 😍
He also Created this beautiful view,
and it is a ice scolptute of Winona
when she reach for the sky and a beautiful bird batch and birds.
This is from his castle later in the
movie, and this part is also a favorite
it so beautiful and sad as they have
to say goodbye... Love!
Love like that never dies ❤️❤️
I am all for happy endings and even
if this one might not end as we
wished, my imagination says
she sneaked over there and
they they still together in
that castle today!
They are in my fantasy world 😁

I don't know if I made you long to
see this movie with my words, but
If you haven't seen it then I can
recomend it. Also for kids.
I know one person who share my
love for this movie and seen it
multiple times to.

favorite childhood movie.
Ofcourse Johnny Depp done many
great movies and we all have our
favorite ones, another favorite
is Cry Baby ... Yeah...
Amazing music (where he sings
himself), and crazy funny, sexy
and again beautiful love story.
Benny and June is Great, Blow is
another one, Gilbert Grape
(amazing movie)
So many that it is hard to mention
them all, hope I gave you a little
good advices and made it itch
to see that amazing Edward
Scissorhands movie.

It really is a classic worth seing, and one of the first one I saw in the cinema with some cousins.
And that McFarlaine figure of Edward is unique and I actually have a funny story about how I got it.
I had a jacket with ishockey team Redhawks on it and I don’t like hockey much but I had that jacket since I was in school cause I loved the color and Type.
Then I got asked to sell it and I said no... Lol
But then a friends brother had that figure and didn't want it so we traded and today I know I got the better straw in that deal 😂 Hahahaha

seriously him and time burton always make masterpieces.
what made this film a fave for me was that it had everything and in the end we were all in tears because Edward loved her but he couldn't be hers because of who he is and what he does.
for me its A realistic Beauty and the beast hehe

I also think this movie has it all, and I think the Pinocchio view is how I looked at it as a kid.

I got stoned and watched this movie a few months ago. It was so weird. I had forgotten most of it since I was a child the last time I watched it.

Ive never seen that movie before. The recent movie I rewatched that I hadnt seen in like 30 something years was The Sound of Music. I watched it on Disney+ and it is crazy how good that movie looks compared to a lot of the other movies from that time. They must have done a remaster of the film or something because it looks like it was shot recently.
Awww... Julie Andrews one of my favorite actresses and singers.
Sound of music has to be the greatest classics of all times. I watched that one more times than I can remember and still to this day I know most of the songs and lyrics by ❤️ 😊 such a beautiful movie.
I do think they did something at some point that made it more clear and watcheble, not sure.

I definitely happen to like this movie quite a lot. It's got a very Beauty and the Beast-like storyline (although I really appreciate the Pinocchio reference that you found!), the actors are great, and it's very endearing.
For me personally, my favorite aspect, this being a Tim Burton movie, are all of the references to German Expressionism, a genre of which he uses multiple techniques in the overwhelming majority of his movies. It's a genre which doesn't have a great of movies attached, but it's so influential in terms of the techniques that it helped develop (some of which are still in use to this day, and not only in Tim Burton's movies!), the underlying themes, and the overall "sinister" feel to that specific genre. I'm glad that he keeps it alive in his both his animated and live action movies.
Rant's over... I just love bringing up that genre whenever I catch a glimpse haha. Thanks for the opportunity! And very nice action figure of Edward Scissorhands as well!
