The Apparel Commanded by God
That's the topic of the day and Bro helps us a lot in the explantation of the God's view on clothing and grooming.

Firstly, Our dressing and grooming should depict us as good christians. One that's following Jesus Christ's footstep. Not a wrong view of clothes and grooming by others. Everywhere that they wear is okay by them. They can expose their crotch, breast and other sensitive part of their body in the name of fashion but it's still okay by them. They had a viewpoint that they don't have problem but onlookers do and whatever they wears, does not concern anyone! But, that's not true. We should not constitute nuisance in the name of fashion and cause others to fail in faith! We should respect others by conducting ourselves honorably. Such display of bodies as seen by movie stars is uncalled for, although it's a part of their work but should be checkmated. Also, our little children should be taken into concern too.

Secondly, we should maintain good health by obeying God. We should dress well, wash our clothes, iron them and use deodorants. Our main concern should be our health, not how we look outside. Promotion of good health can help us to avoid sickness and diseases. Carefully examining ourselves of any body change and seek medical care at once. Use of Alum of any form is very health to avoid body odor and harmful chemicals should be avoided.

Thirdly, body piercings and other forms of body painting is not of Christ and should not be done. God was very angry with the isreallites when they adopt the ways of Canaanites in the terms of body painting, tattooes and piercings. It's their form of worship of their idol and God does not want such. Such principle is applicable this days, we should avoid those things.

Fourthly, according to Jer 4:30 and 1 Peter 3:3, excessive adornment of our body with jewelry is not good. Moderation is adviceable and our concern should be on our relationship with God not on physical adornment.

Conclusion
We should dress and groom ourselves with modesty and still look good and healthy.
