I always mistake the conjuring movie with Insidious. I don't think I have watched any of them yet but the fact that there are 4 of them by now with a lot of hype means there is a big audience. I'm not sure that it's for me but I might consider wacthing the first one around halloween just to know what all the fuzz is about.

Si no estás seguro de si son para ti, tu idea es excelente: ver la primera película de El Conjuro es un gran plan de Halloween. Es considerada por muchos una de las mejores de terror moderno, con un buen equilibrio entre sustos bien construidos y una historia sólida. Es la opción perfecta para entender el revuelo.
Es muy común confundir ambas sagas, ya que comparten creador (James Wan) y una atmósfera de terror muy característica. Es una señal de lo impactantes que han sido estas películas, hasta el punto de generar una base de fans tan fiel que justifica tantas secuelas.
