I had the chance to watch this masterpiece a while back and I have to say, it was a rollercoaster of emotions.
I remember, it was immediately I had watched and made a review of the movie Luck and I was talking about how all impressed I was by the concept and result of an animated movie that is not affiliated with one of the big leagues.
Well imagine the irony I felt after I had finished singing praises to one show and then watch another show made from one of the animation big producers that outshines my previously praised show in everyway ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Elementals ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒŠ

Plot

A love story has never gotten so hot. In a city where the elements; fire, water, earth and wind, manage to live together in army.
A fiery tempered young flame Ember and a chilled submissive crybaby water drop Wade, fall in love despite their obvious differences.
Watch as they work together to save Firetown and find out just how much they have in common.

This Disney Pixar movie really takes the cake if we're to talk on the most revolutionary animated films of the decade.
To be honest, I don't think I've ever been moved by an animated show based on love like I was moved by this one. It was just so sublime and quick to pluck my heart strings.
And here's why...

What I Loved

- The Sense of Wonder

In every animated show, this is something that is essential for it's success.
An animated show with a great sense of wonder and magic is sure to catch the eyes and minds of its viewers.
A show that clearly denies the laws of physics but yet still somehow makes sense. This is an art that DreamWorks and Disney have been practicing for years and this show is clearly the latest in including all of the years of practice they had cause the wonder was perfectly held, from beginning till the end.

- The Animation

What is a good animated show without great animation?

Bullscr*p

Goes without saying that as the years go by, more realistic type of animations are shown.
Pixar surely hid no dime when animating their characters in this show, making each character and elements movement as fluid as ever, thus making the show more interactive and emotions easily conveyed.

- The Characters

Now the characters used in this show is one that'll make you think.

Fire and Water?

What a match, seems like a bad poetic joke.
Yet here we are, seeing it and loving it. The characters here are just proof of the writers imagination and a sense of making a bold move.

He even went further in the objects of elements and put in trees (probably to signify earth)๐Ÿ˜…
The characters are all colorful and lively, a lovely mix.

- The Love Interest Shown

Now love is a clearly oversaturated trope in any form of literature or entertainment. Yet this one felt totally new and inspiring to me.
I wondered why for quite some time and then it hit me, it was the way it was conveyed.
Illegal love based on family involvement is still old and worn, my earliest hearing of it was in Romeo and Juliet.

Yet Fire and Water?

For some reason this was a new scope.
It was a fresh idea of using the elements and balancing it out.
It forced me to wonder what would happen if they actually fell in love?
How would it work?
Would it be allowed?
When these questions began popping out of my head, before I knew it I was completely hooked on the story ๐Ÿ˜….

OอŸvอŸeอŸrอŸaอŸlอŸlอŸ RอŸaอŸtอŸiอŸnอŸgอŸ

It was a greatly enjoyed movie, laughs, awwwns and maybe some cheers are to be expected when watching.
It's perfect for families, couples or even a single pringle viewer like me ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
A solid 9 out of 10.
