I just watched this movie yesterday. The plot was quite simple, deliver a message. Most of us have had the occasional experience of doing something simple that is also damned hard to do.

What I enjoyed about the movie were the one-take scenes where the camera follows along without cuts. It had to require a ton of planning and practice to get those long scenes right. The scene in Écoust as Schofield walks in the light of flares was quite amazing. It required a camera with high dynamic range to capture the contrasts between dark and light. Suffice it to say, I enjoyed the production more than the story.

Such nice surprise to see an old post of mine getting a new comment, haha!

Anyway, this movie is quite creative with the visual shots in overall. The technical aspects surrounding it are simply incredible.

There are all kinds of great old posts worth exploring. It seems better to search for topics that interest me than wait for them to pop up in the feed.
