Morbius confirmed on Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-man universe
Two days ago, the long-awaited film from Sony's Marvel universe "Morbius" was released, after being delayed more than five times by the film company. I leave here a complete review of the movie with spoilers, so if you haven't seen it yet I recommend you watch it before reading this article.
Jared Leto, who plays the main character, Michael Morbius, is a Biological Engineer who has a blood disease with a condition that makes his physique look horrible; in order to try to cure himself of this disease, Morbius combines the DNA of animals, including that of bats, and electroshock treatments. The experiment does not go quite as he wanted, which this process affects him with a much worse disease called pseudo-vampirism. Morbius now had to drink blood to survive and with a strong aversion to light, his bones become hollow and he gains the ability to fly, as well as gaining superhuman strength, super speed and accelerated healing process as a result of his search for a possible cure.
Michael undergoes a physical transformation that looks similar to that of bats due to the DNA used from them, a consequence of having used it to try to cure himself of his delicate illness. In correspondence, he is persecuted by the police and the FBI, seeing him as a superhuman threat, several agents intervening in his persecution, among them, Loxias Crown (Matt Smith) "Hunger" standing out as a character with enough weight in the film, challenging Morbius to have the same disease as him.
The film has a romantic touch and a line that refers to the films of the 2000's very different from what we are used to seeing with the MCU saga. It would be good to point out that even with the good interpretation of the actors for their characters, there are gaps in the script and a plot that goes too fast as we witnessed with Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
At the end of the film, we have two post-credits scenes, showing us Adrián Toomes "Vulture" (Michael Keaton) in prison, attracted by Doctor Strange's spell to this universe where Morbius and Venom are already part. Toomes, having no recorded criminal record, is released from prison, later, we see him with the suit that we are presented at the end of The Amazing Spider-man 2 in the Osborn building, confirming with this the existence of the Spider-man of Andrew Garfield in this universe, placing the events of the movie in the year 2024, 9 months after the blip in Avengers: Endgame.
We hope to be able to see on the big screen an upcoming encounter between Tom Hardy's Venom and Andrew Garfield giving this great actor one more chance to play the character again while also facing Morbius of this universe.

Thank you for your review! I am interested to see this movie and see how it fits in with the MCU. Thanks again!
Let's put some hope on the film for the next one, maybe we could see more of the Spider-man universe.
