Pamela Anderson

The first time that I saw something on tv with Pamela Anderson was when I was about 8 years old and she appeared on Baywatch. I remember that she was very popular and that there was a trend born when she appeared there, a lot of women started to get breasts implants. I always thought she seemed like a good person, friendly at heart. But then again, I was still a kid so I didn't know much more about her as obviously I was not following Playboy's news or anything, lol.

Tommy Lee

The next thing that I can remember about her was reading about her marriage with Tommy Lee and how turbulent that was. I also recall her being abused and that I thought this guy seemed like bad news from the start, poor woman. I always assumed they were a party hardy couple as well though. But again, I had no clue who Pamela Anderson was and what she was up to. Oh wait, I do remember seeing that movie barb wire and tuntil today I would not be able to tell you what it was about, I remember it was bad in my opinion, lol.

Life can be very hard

I know how life can throw you challenges and especially when they come in abusive partners. This means that whenever I see a documentary being announced of a woman that walked a slightly similar path (in this case I'm referring to the abuse partners) I get curious and would love to hear / see the story in her own words instead of what media is trying to tell us, and also keep from us. I think that I have pretty good judgement nowadays to see if this is true what they are telling or that it's just a cover up of something else. I was very curious about Pam's documentary and watched it yesterday.

Not about her looks

To me, it was about the story, not her looks. I think this woman has lived, has been shamed and mocked but in the end she stayed true to herself and strong. I don't want to give out any spoilers but I have respect for her. I think many would have been depressed or worse being mocked constantly on tv or being treated as a piece of meat, this woman has feelings too. People tend to forget that. She has a family and I think her sons seem like a pair of decent guys raised by a good person. I think the end of the documentary was wonderful to see, this was a piece of empowerment for sure.

Would recommend if you love these type of documentaries to find out the story from the person's own side instead of gossip by media.

You can check it on Netflix!
