I love a good movie or tv show about spies, don't you? I was initially not watching tv when my boyfriend found this one, so he was already a few episodes in when I joined and started from episode one as I soon discovered it was probably one to my liking. The show starts with the head of MI6 getting poisoned by a woman, Adam (his deputy) needs to take his place and he probably has no clue what he's getting himself into at that moment.

Russian spy connections

Adam has no clue that someone has been making moves behind his back to feed him intel that eventually led to him getting this spot at MI6. Where it first looks as if this person feeding him the intel may have bad intentions, it soon gets clear that the real story is probably slightly different than what you'd guess in the first place.

Trust nobody

Where someone enters his wife's life while he tries to take care of important family matters, he has no clue that this person is plotting against him while his wife has no clue about the true colors of this person. Adam can't trust the people he used to trust anymore and one event after the other happens where the real bad guy behind all of this seems to change along with every event. I personally kept wondering what the real truth was until the last episode.

Makes you wonder

When looking at this show, and probably any other show where MI6 and Russian spies are involved, I truly wonder how many of these events are a true part of daily life. I remember seeing news items about Russian spies assassinating people in real life with anthrax not that long ago, and it seems like a signature thing if I have to believe the spy movies.

Mostly because of the last episodes, I now wonder if there will be a follow up season. I don't want to spoil anything so I can't get into details here as you should watch it yourself if you like this genre.
