In this sea of opinions, one of the most recurring has to do with "The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull" being considered the worst in the saga, an unforgivable sin towards the original trilogy.
However, I must admit that in my humble opinion the fourth installment of Indiana Jones is not only a worthy continuation of what we saw in the original trilogy, but also does many unexpected things with the myth of the character that perhaps many of his fans are ignoring.
Hand on heart I can't say the quality remains the same, but I'm also not bothered by the idea of completing Jones' story with this film

Have to wholeheartedly agree here. 4th film wasn't great on quality, but it did feel like a very final completion to the saga. Neatly wraps up several loose ends for viewers. I think this is partially what is so polarizing. It was over. It ended. A neat little bow was on it. Why dig things back up? Why undo the continuity? I'm not going to take sides here. Just saying I understand and I agree with the feeling here. I look forward to your review of the newest installment. I especially look forward to it because of your unique perspective. Let me get my popcorn.

Thanks for your comment! To me this franchise has been a really "peculiar" trip and sometimes I simply don't know how to feel about it. 😅

To me something like the last crusade is miles above, of course, but I find the risky nature of Crystal Skull really appealing

Let's see how it goes with the fifth one

I liked the Last Crusade a lot too. Sean Connery did not disappoint.
