Las películas de comedia por lo general son muy pocas las que me genera risa y me cuesta mucho disfrutarla, en lo personal tengo actores y actrices con los que si disfruto de este género por lo que siempre suelo dejar estas películas de lado si estos actores y actrices no están dentro del reparto y uno de esos actores es Tyler Perry quien es un actor y director muy diverso en sus personajes y cada que veo que él saldrá en una peli sé que me gustara y que realmente disfrutaré de una buena comedia.
Comedy movies are usually very few that make me laugh and I have a hard time enjoying them, personally I have actors and actresses that I enjoy this genre so I always leave these movies aside if these actors and actresses are not in the cast and one of those actors is Tyler Perry who is a very diverse actor and director in his characters and every time I see that he will be in a movie I know I will like it and that I will really enjoy a good comedy.

This particular movie comes from a saga called Madea that consists of 15 movies, the first of this saga is called Diary of a Madwoman (2005) and the last one was Madea's Homecoming (2022) and this will be the movie I will talk about in this post. Something to note is that each of these movies were starred and directed by Tyler Perry and it is the kind of comedy that only has 2 options where there is no in-between or You like it or You don't like it.

The plot is simple like all of this saga, they focus more on comedy than on a good story structure; however, the story is entertaining despite not having as many nuances and depth as other comedy movies. This movie is one of those that you either like or you don't like, there really is no in-between and the comedy that it has will lead you to those two options, in my case I liked it and I enjoyed it as much as the previous ones.

The characters are the strong point of the movie and the group that Madea, Cora, Agnes and Joe make is incredible and is what makes the movie fun, they are the ones that really catch the attention and the acting that Tyler, Cassie and Brendan do is incredible; especially Tyler who plays both Madea and Joe. The rest of the characters contribute in a positive way to the film and give it that extra touch of interest, each one is very well coupled and you can feel the connection and good vibes that exist between the actors and actresses.

However, even though I liked it a lot, it is not one of my favorites of the saga, I feel that it lacked something to be positioned among my favorites and I could even say that I liked A Crazy Funeral (2019) more than this movie, but I enjoyed it and I recommend it. My Score is.
