CineTV Contest: The Princess Bride

My choice this week is The Princess Bride.
It is based on the 1973 novel by William Goldman.
The film was released in 1987.

It tells the story of a farmhand named Westley who fell in love with Buttercup who lived there. Westley goes off to make his fortune so that He can marry Buttercup.

His ship is attacked by the Dread Pirate Roberts. Westley is presumed dead.
And this is where I class it as a Pirate film. The Dread Pirate Roberts is mentioned quite often throughout the film.

It is one of my all time favourite films which made it perfect for this contest. It is a comedy/romantic/action style film of amazing work.
There is amazing lines thoughout the whole film, my favourite being spoken by Vizzini being, "Inconcievable" brings alot of pure entertainment throught.

One of the greatest parts for me is that it has André the Giant in it. André the freaking Giant!
He is amazing in it throughout the film.

This is hands down the Best Pirate film out there. If you haven't seen it, I 10000% reccommend it as a must watch. It has held against the tests of time and always brings an amazing feeling when I watch it.
