Twins es una película que se estrenó en el año 2005, 23 de agosto, para ser exactos.

Tiene una duración de 1 hora 52 minutos, es algo corta pero muy divertida, este entre el género de comedia, bajo la producción y dirección de Ivan Reitman.

Y distribuida por Universal Pictures, una película donde los personajes principales son Danny Devito, un actor que hemos visto en películas famosas como Matilda y otras mas, pero en esta película también podemos ver a Arnold Schwartzenegger el cual será el tema principal de la película.

Twins is a movie that was released in 2005, August 23, to be exact.

It has a running time of 1 hour 52 minutes, it is somewhat short but very funny, this among the comedy genre, under the production and direction of Ivan Reitman.

And distributed by Universal Pictures, a movie where the main characters are Danny Devito, an actor we have seen in famous movies like Matilda and others, but in this movie we can also see Arnold Schwartzenegger which will be the main subject of the film.

En primer lugar, debo decir que "Twins" es una comedia ligera que no se toma demasiado en serio a sí misma. La trama gira en torno a dos hermanos gemelos que fueron separados al nacer y criados en diferentes entornos. Arnold Schwarzenegger interpreta al hermano "perfecto" que ha sido criado en un laboratorio y Danny DeVito al hermano "defectuoso" que ha sido criado en las calles.

Julius es el hermano (interpretado por Arnold Schwarzenegger) y Vincent (interpretado por Danny DeVito).

Como lo mencione al inicio, Julius es el hermano "perfecto", y tiene una apariencia física imponente y una personalidad dulce y optimista. Por otro lado, Vincent es el hermano "defectuoso", quien ha sido criado en las calles y es de baja estatura, tiene una personalidad astuta y es un estafador experimentado, algo que Julius no tiene, Julius es muy inocente, algunas cosas no las entiende debido a que la astucia no es lo suyo, esto crea un balance perfecto entre los dos hermanos

First of all, I must say that "Twins" is a light comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously. The plot revolves around two twin brothers who were separated at birth and raised in different environments. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the "perfect" brother who was raised in a lab and Danny DeVito the "defective" brother who was raised on the streets.

Julius is the brother (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Vincent (played by Danny DeVito).

As I mentioned at the beginning, Julius is the "perfect" brother, and he has an imposing physical appearance and a sweet and optimistic personality. On the other hand, Vincent is the "flawed" brother, who has been raised on the streets and is short in stature, has a cunning personality and is an experienced con man, something Julius does not have, Julius is very innocent, some things he does not understand because cunning is not his thing, this creates a perfect balance between the two brothers.

A través de la historia, Julius y Vincent aprenden a confiar y a apoyarse mutuamente, lo que les permite superar los obstáculos que se les presentan en el camino, pues por parte de Vincent, se ven envueltos en muchos problemas de los cuales Julius lo ayuda a salir ileso.

La actuación de los dos actores principales es lo más destacado de la película. Schwarzenegger es divertido y encantador como siempre, pero también muestra un lado más suave de su actuación, especialmente en las escenas en las que trata de conectar con su hermano. Por otro lado, DeVito es la parte contraria perfecta de Schwarzenegger y aporta un humor muy diferente a la película.

Throughout the story, Julius and Vincent learn to trust and support each other, which allows them to overcome the obstacles that come their way, as on Vincent's side, they get into a lot of trouble from which Julius helps him get out of unscathed.

The acting of the two lead actors is the highlight of the film. Schwarzenegger is funny and charming as always, but he also shows a softer side to his performance, especially in the scenes where he tries to connect with his brother. On the other hand, DeVito is the perfect opposite side of Schwarzenegger and brings a very different humor to the film.

La trama de la película es simple y predecible, pero eso no significa que no sea entretenida. Aunque algunos de los chistes son un poco obvios, la mayoría de las bromas funcionan bien y no hace reír a nosotros como espectadores, tomando en cuenta también algunos momentos incómodos para Julius.

La película también tiene algunas escenas de acción divertidas, aunque son más ligeras que en otras películas de Schwarzenegger, pues en esta película no se enfocan en la acción, sino en la comedia, nos hace ver un poco diferente a Schwarzenegger.

The film's plot is simple and predictable, but that doesn't mean it's not entertaining. Although some of the jokes are a bit obvious, most of the jokes work well and don't make us as viewers laugh, also taking into account some awkward moments for Julius.

The movie also has some funny action scenes, although they are lighter than in other Schwarzenegger movies, as in this movie they don't focus on action, but on comedy, it makes us see Schwarzenegger a little different.

Durante la película estos hermanos también conocen a dos chicas que son muy bellas, son dos rubias con un cuerpo increíble y son las chicas perfectas para cada uno, pero Julius no conoce mucho sobre el amor.

Esto lo lleva a tener que recibir concejos de su hermano Vincent el cual lo ayuda a vestir a la moda y ser cool.

During the movie these brothers also meet two girls who are very beautiful, they are two blondes with amazing bodies and they are the perfect girls for each other, but Julius doesn't know much about love.

This leads him to have to get advice from his brother Vincent who helps him dress fashionably and be cool.

La cinematografía y la dirección son decentes, pero no esperes nada impresionante en cuanto a efectos especiales, explosiones o cosas así, pues esta no es la idea de la película.

La película fue filmada en diferentes lugares de Estados Unidos, lo que le da un buen aspecto visual, pero no hay nada especialmente llamativo o creativo en la forma en que se filmó la película, pues no veremos nada como monumentos importantes de algunas ciudades ni nada por el estilo, pero aun así se disfruta cuanto te centras en la historia.

En cuanto a los personajes, Schwarzenegger y DeVito son los que realmente llevan la película. Los personajes secundarios son bastante planos y están allí solo para acompañar a los principales, pero también les da como un sentido distinto a la comedia, pero a la final, eso es de esperar en una comedia ligera como "Twins".

The cinematography and direction are decent, but don't expect anything impressive in terms of special effects, explosions or the like, as this is not the idea of the film.

The movie was filmed in different locations around the United States, which gives it a good visual look, but there is nothing particularly flashy or creative in the way the movie was filmed, as we won't see anything like important monuments of some cities or anything like that, but it is still enjoyable as soon as you focus on the story.

As for the characters, Schwarzenegger and DeVito are the ones who really carry the film. The supporting characters are pretty flat and are there just to accompany the main characters, but it also gives them kind of a different feel to the comedy, but in the end, that's to be expected in a light comedy like "Twins".
