You can watch this Kdrama for the thrilling action sequences. Okay?

The show is set in an irrational world of extraordinary villainous creatures and demons whose sole purpose is to throw the world into chaos and darkness. It's nothing new, to be fair. I'm sure you've seen a couple of shows featuring demons and mysterious creatures, but you can always count on some element of this particular show to be different from what you've ever seen before.

As you would expect from a show like this, the demons would have to contend with really powerful characters whose main aim is to fight against evil and allow peace to prevail. This is where things get interesting. There are a couple of interesting characters with this motive and the dynamics of each of the 3 major characters who are hunting down these demons are interesting.

On one hand, we have a demon Hunter who has the blood of a lust demon running in his vein. He understands that the mission is to kill or get killed and he doesn't blink while annihilating those demons or anyone possessed by the demons. On the other hand is Johan, a Catholic Priest who performs exorcisms. He adopts a noble approach in his fight against these demons. Instead of killing anyone possessed by demons, his first attempt is usually to purify evil and protect the life of the possessed.

Don't be deceived by the fact that he's a Priest. The young lad knows how to kick ass in combat. He's the nightmare of demons. Haha.

In this show, you will hear so much about fate, reincarnation, exorcism, and demons. You will see a lot of supernatural power nicely presented with the aid of CGI and whatever tech the editors use. The action sequences are also legit and diligently choreographed.

We (Cinephiles) know when the production crew are doing a very good job in making a movie. This is why it's not a surprise that this show is getting so many high ratings. Feel free to add it to your watchlist. I also rate it very highly.
