Its funny how series like The Last of Us or The Mandalorian make me say after every episode "This is the best episode of this season" almost none of the episodes let you hanging or disappoint when it comes to action. On Chapter 19 - The Covert there is a lot more of story than action but the first ten minutes are packed with action after "mercenaries" come back for Bo-Katan, I'm not a 100% sure about this since they never got an answer from their attackers and they also never confront them face to face, I assume it was the mercenaries that use to follow her since they destroy her castle.

There is a new era now with The Empire been disassemble, their ships, everything is been turn apart by the New Republic but there is some sort of conspiracy since many of the previous members of The Empire are part of it, there is this program to keep them in line and brain wash them but also spies living within them probably to avoid any kind of revolution.

Din has bathe in the waters of the Mandalorian Mines, the living waters, he has been redeem and is a Mandalorian again.
Din takes a sample of water as proof that he has bathe in them and prove it to the Armorer and the rest of the Creed that lives with her. Bo-Katan ask if he feels anything different or if he saw anything down there but he says he didn't. I haven't investigate online what the monster that she saw is but I'm sure she knows probably that's why she asks Mando a few times.

Source

Right after they get out of Mandalore get attacked by a group of mercenaries, at first they were a few but enough to give them a good battle, once they get to Bo-Katan castle Din was able to drop and jump into his ship after that the group of mercenaries were no match for the two ships.

Source

Just when they thought it was over another group of ships this time bombers arrive and destroy Bo-Katan castle, she tries to go after them but Din saw they were just too many on the radar, Bo and Din didnt have enough fire power or ships to evade them and fight them so they decided to run away, jump space and get out of sight.

Source

Both Bo-Katan and Dim, with Grogu and Din's Droid, were able to get away in route to where the Armorer and the rest of the Creed was.

After this great fight the episode took a turn and started to be more about Dr. Penn Pershing, a scientific who use to be part of The Empire that doesn't exist anymore, he had been working on cloning tech but it was weaponize by The Empire and now he has a low rank job at The New Republic.

Source

Dr. Pershing is very passionate about his work but now that The Empire is gone he doesn't have the same kind of support, with his ID L-52 at the New Republic he is basically nobody, he then is trick by
Elia Kane who at the moment infiltrate L-52 pretending to be a supporter of his work and basically convince him to continue and pursue his goal for The New Republic.

Source

At first she get him some kind of crackers that he miss from The Empire and then went out with him, kept talking about how important is his research, I didn't remember her from previous seasons and thought she was just some rebels or part of a resistance, there was something strange about her, she kept telling him that sometimes you have to bend some rules.

The first time they went out she make him try to touch a rock that was part of an exhibition and from that moment she knew she could work him, there is a follow up program for ex Empire members and he started to doubt the rules of this program as he ask the robot during the Amnesty Program if it was legal to continue his cloning research known it is but all this was Elia getting into his mind.

Source

They became very close and after many times of talking about the subjet he decided to move forward and started planing how he would do it, as Elia got him the crackers she told him that Empire ships were scraps now and they could took what he needs for his research and nobody would now.

Source

But it was all a trap, she was part of a conspiracy program to infiltrate those who would not pass the Amnesty Program and get them before a resistance movement against The New Republic start. Everything was stage, they get to the ship to get trap and end up in hands of New Republic police as they were expecting him L-52 was finally arrested. I kind feel sad for the guy, can tell he is a scientist and loves his job but he was at the wrong side of the line, he was part of the Empire.

Source

Finally after two episodes of fighting, killing, shooting and almost drown, Din Jarin returns with proof that he bathe in the Living Waters of Mandalore Mines, Din is again redeem and goes back to his Mandalorian status, Bo-Katan in the mind time has been redeem too since she has not remove her helmet and was also bathe in the waters as she rescue Din, they both now walk the way and were welcome by the rest of the creed.

After this great episode it seems like Din could turn into the leader of the mandalorians now with the Armorer on his side the rest of the mandalorians could follow him, Bo-Katan is now part of them too and could turn into a great second in command, L-52 not sure whats going to happen to him and his research, Im not a hard core Star Wars fans so don't know if his story is part of other series or movie but I found it interesting and I'm ok with an episode or two of story line, this first three episodes had a lot of action so one or two borring ones is ok for me.

I might start doing post of this Ester Eggs as people call them, but could be a bit short depending on the information I may find online.

It was odd to jump away from the main Mandalorian story like that. I did not really remember those characters, but the doctor goes back to the first season when everyone was after Grogu as his blood was special. We'll have to see where it goes.

It is a great show generally. I am also watching The Bad Batch, but I lose track of which time period things are in. I haven't watched all the animated shows. There just isn't enough time, especially if you then watch the Youtube videos that explain everything that happened in each episode. Just have to go with it.

I was advice to watch The Clone Wars to catch up, I havent seen any of the previous story to this series, actually started to like Star Wars with Book of Boba Fet and Mandalorian, with now days tech this shows really come to live ✌️

There are so many shows now. I grew up with the original movies. Andor was good, but slow to get going. There are more coming. Some people have watched everything and read the books. I haven't and it shouldn't be vital to enjoy it.
