Women in Film || A Lady I Run To For The Best [ENG-ESP]

Watching movies of all genres from different countries is what I really enjoy doing.
It gives me so much joy that sometimes I forget to do some important house chores I was meant to do especially when the movie is a captivating one and stars my favourite actors and actresses.
I never get tired of watching movies at all.

I enjoy all movies provided it has a good plot, storyline, sound, acting and directing but above all these factors, a good movie is greatly determined by the actors and actresses.

A movie without all the aforementioned factors can still be greatly enjoyed when the acting is done perfectly (Not to talk of when it was acted by your favourite actor or actress)

In a bit to celebrate the just concluded International Women's day @franchalad brought out this wonderful topic #womeninfilm initiative here and I will seize this opportunity to tell you about a lady who is so good at acting, she acts like it's her just living her life, she acts effortlessly.

I am talking of no other lady other than Gina Torress.

If you have never heard of Gina Torress, it speaks volume of how you don't enjoy Sci-fi movies at all because that is her niche.

A little about her biography;

Gina was born in New York City and is youngest of three children in a close-knit Cuban American family. Attended New York City's High School of Music and Art She is a gifted mezzo soprano and was trained in opera and jazz and also sang in a gospel choir

The first time I saw her in a movie was around 2011 when Season 1 of Suits had just been released.

She played the role of Jessica Pearson, a mentor to her associates and partners.

I was watching her and was perplexed as to how good she was.
She was natural, the actings came off just effortlessly that you begin to wonder if it's just acting or she was videoed living her life.
Her acting was not only beyond perfect but was fantastic and extraordinary.

Talk about Charisma! She demonstrated that a lot.

Regardless of working with a character as tough as Harvey Spectre; her managerial skill was second to none as she knew when to bend the knee and when to fight, all for the good of the firm.
When she talks, she talks with such a great authority and command that you get to imagine what will happen if you don't follow her directives.

Watching her walk makes me wonder how people could have catwalking as their natural walking step... Indeed, I love this woman 😀

Her presence in Suits made me love the movie and followed it till the very end.
I was a bit reluctant to watch Suits from season 7 down to season 9 because that my favourite Gina Torress departed from the movie after season 6.

Gina Torress has been in the industry for 31years now and has been involved with many movies.

I did a little research about her and discovered that suits wasn't actually the first place I met her but rather Firefly and Matrix Reloaded.
I had to redownload these two movies because I watched them when I was still small and couldn't remember seeing her even though I remembered the fighting scenes in the movie very well and as usual, she was just very good (I was watching fighting scenes alone as a kid).

Gina Torress is an actress that can take up any role in acting and still do a very great job at it.

On getting to know her better , I noticed she voiced the character of Vixen in the animated series of justice League and Wonder Woman video game, wow!

Seeing this made me acknowledge the fact that she would still get to the climax of this industry because she is indeed the industry.

In Cleopatra 2525, Gina played the role of Helen where she acted as the team leader fighting the armed machines distorting the activities of the earth.
She again displayed a great managerial strength.

She made the movie so fascinating that even if you don't enjoy Sci-fi movies, you would surely enjoy this particular one because of her presence.

In I think I love My Wife, Gina played the role of Brenda, Richard Cooper's lovely wife.

Here, she was a woman very much occupied with her career as a teacher and also a great mother to her two children but then feels she needs to put a hold to the sex life of her husband and hers.
This was very tempting to his Richard as the occasion starts presenting, I'm not going further, watch and find out the rest, hehehe.

A must watch for all married couples.

Recently watching 9-1-1: Lone Star season 1 without Gina, everybody could attest to the visible life and spice she added to the movie when she joined from season 2 playing the role of Tommy Vega, the paramedic captain cemented my love for her.

I doubt any actress will ever take her away from my heart as it stands now

She has been nominated 12 times and has 3awards to her career which I believe will skyrocket in due time because she is effortlessly good.

I have plans of going back in time to watch every movie she has ever starred in Because she gives me so much joy.

Ver películas de todos los géneros de diferentes países es lo que realmente disfruto hacer.
Me da tanta alegría que a veces me olvido de hacer algunas tareas domésticas importantes que debía hacer, especialmente cuando la película es cautivadora y está protagonizada por mis actores y actrices favoritos.
Nunca me canso de ver películas en absoluto.

Disfruto de todas las películas siempre que tengan una buena trama, argumento, sonido, actuación y dirección, pero por encima de todos estos factores, una buena película está determinada en gran medida por los actores y actrices.

Una película sin todos los factores antes mencionados aún se puede disfrutar mucho cuando la actuación se realiza a la perfección (Por no hablar de cuando fue interpretada por su actor o actriz favorita)

En un momento para celebrar el recién concluido Día Internacional de la Mujer, @franchalad sacó a relucir este maravilloso tema #iniciativamujeresenelcine aquí y aprovecharé esta oportunidad para contarles sobre una dama que es tan buena actuando, actúa como si fuera ella simplemente viviendo su vida, actúa sin esfuerzo.

No estoy hablando de otra dama que no sea Gina Torress.

Si nunca has oído hablar de Gina Torress, dice mucho de cómo no disfrutas las películas de ciencia ficción porque ese es su nicho.

Un poco sobre su biografía;

Gina nació en la ciudad de Nueva York y es la menor de tres hijos en una familia cubanoamericana muy unida. Asistió a la Escuela Superior de Música y Arte de la ciudad de Nueva York Es una talentosa mezzo soprano y se formó en ópera y jazz y también cantó en un coro de gospel.

La primera vez que la vi en una película fue alrededor de 2011, cuando acababa de estrenarse la temporada 1 de Suits.
