Whether you're a fan of Oceans Eleven or you prefer to talk about The Italian Job, all are welcome. If you can also wake up your inner Steven Spielberg for your participation blog, then judging might become even more exciting for us than robbing a bank.

As often happens in the CineKids, we go back in time a bit. And this time it happens with films that are intended for Educational Purpose. To describe it better, movies that can inspire empathy. @thisismylife gives an example of films that immediately evoked empathy in her. Are you now curious which films those were for her? Then quickly read this week's CineKids. You may or may not agree. Feel free to leave a comment!

Of course you can also find some new background stories for the many writing prompts. So if you're still in need of some extra blog-struggling-day inspiration, don't worry! CineTV has got you covered!

If you're ready for a little break now, grab a cup of coffee and go into the relax mode. Enjoy even more of that juicy Hollywood gossip.

  • Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were caught on camera sharing some cozy intimacy at Coachella, and fans immediately took to Twitter with that footage. It's not easy being famous, those people seriously don't have a private life. It seems that they have rekindled their romance, but it could also be that they are just a couple of exes who still get along. Whatever it is, I'm sure we'll hear more about this soon, probably in the near future they'll stumble across journalists who are all doing their utmost to catch them together more often.

  • And despite Sam Ashgari's confirmation that there are no marital problems in his marriage to Britney, it really seems that Britney is keeping the speculation going. It always gets extra attention, of course. And you know, for some people it doesn't matter what kind of attention they get. After all, negative attention is also attention! This time, Britney has been spotted without her wedding ring again. Still, no need to worry, she still looks pretty in pink and twirls in style for the camera wearing a mini dress. She probably just thought she doesn't need a wedding ring with such a pretty pink dress and great dance moves. This will no doubt be continued!

  • And now stop all the tabloid press, the latest dating news about Leonardo DiCaprio! He is known to seek out women who are at least under the age of 25, and the last woman he was linked to was even a teenager (19). Today the latest news, and that is that Leo is not currently dating a teenager! Read that carefully, he's not dating a teenager! In fact, Leo isn't dating at all right now, he's single! Wow ... So Leo turns out to be a mature man in his late forties who is able to have platonic conversations with young women without immediately being a romantic interest. Maybe it's just time to let that man live his life, and who knows, his next crush might just be a woman around the same age. Or would that be asking too much?

The Movie Star of the Week is intended to be a fun and engaging activity for everyone, and for that we need your participation. All you have to do is join the conversation in the comments below the paper. By doing just that, you could win some juicy CINE Tokens and ECENCY Points! Are you with us this week.

Of coure, thanks to @ecency for generously sponsoring this fun challenge!

Last week we had two winners, congratulations to @stickupboys and @nbarrios67!

Are you all ready for a new challenge this week?

In this 2018 movie, we watch a group of friends who regularly get together for game nights. Their 'ordinary' thing suddenly changes when they have to deal with a real mystery. Solving the puzzle and winning the game puts them in unexpected and dangerous situations. Is this all real? Or is something completely different going on here? Although the plot sounds very exciting, there is also a lot of humor in the film, and this combination of laughter and exciting action seems to make it a fascinating film from start to finish.

Now I must confess that I am very curious about your opinions because unlike other films I posted here before, I have NOT seen this film myself. The reason I haven't watched this movie yet could just be a reason that also belongs in a comedy. The movie is on HBO Max, and we could watch it like this, BUT... the featured image on HBO Max shows a small dog sitting on the couch between two people (the protagonists). And that little dog has been the reason for us to skip this movie every time until now.

We ourselves are 'blessed' with a huge cute German Shepherd who finds it very nice and super exciting to watch a movie with us. He really watches, he enjoys most movies, but we really need to be prepared for him to freak out when a dog is in the movie. Then he jumps frantically to the TV and puts on his heaviest voice to tell that dog on TV that he does NOT like him. And while I'm prepared for barking on any movie, (which movie doesn't have a dog in the picture these days, even if it's just 5 seconds), choosing a movie where a dog is already portrayed in the movie poster, that's going just a step too far at the moment.

So let us know in the comments, is it worth watching:

GAME NIGHT

We have 100 CINE tokens and 100 ECENCY Points to give away, do you have a comment? The conditions are being looked at more strictly. And if the conditions are not met, we will not give away additional tokens.

Rules:

  • Only personal opinions, no plot stories , and since this is meant for more engagement on the newspaper, you're only in the race to earn some extra CINE when you leave a comment.

If you want to write a blog, that's great! But there won't be extra CINE tokens for blogs anymore.

You guys are "THE COMMUNITY", and we would be nothing without you!

We keep watching for all the films that come out this year, after all, that is what the CINETV community is for. I will try to show as many different genres as possible. Hopefully there's something to your taste and you'll find a new movie for your "To Watch" list. Get ready for some trailers below!

MAFIA MAMMA

Are you a sucker for gangster movies starring pretty women, packed with action and laughter. Maybe Mafia Mamma is the one you should watch!

RENFIELD

Probably not a movie that I will watch myself as I'm absolutely not a fan of any horror movie. But if you like horror movies, who have also a hint of comedy than this could be one for you to watch!

SWEETWATER

The last movie I want to highlight this week is a true story about the Harlem Globetrotters. Basket ball fans will enjoy this movie very much.

We like to point out the following note about plagiarism!

We have an entire team dedicated to finding AND reporting plagiarism and abuse. And be warned, we NEVER will tolerate plagiarized blogs. Not in plagiarized words, nor images!

We have seen some really great posts that failed to source their pictures, and so we were not able to curate them properly. Remember to only post YOUR OWN words and to properly source the photos that you use that are not your own.

Plagiarism is THEFT and has no place in our CineTV family!

Don't forget that you can subscribe to this newspaper by simply letting us know in a comment. If you want to cancel the subscription, you can do so in the same simple way.

And with that, this week's newspaper has come to an end. We hope you enjoyed it and we'll see you next week with a new newspaper! If you find this newspaper and want to chat with about movies and TV with us, feel free to join is in our DISCORD

Thanks...we love you all!

I really enjoyed the movie Game Night myself, I first thought you were accidentally sharing an old movie trailer until I noticed I accidentally scrolled passed the text and missed reading that whole part lol. I think we saw it on Netflix last year or something, it was one of these nights when we just wanted an easy-to-watch movie. I can confirm this is one of these, there's some humor in it as well as a bit of mystery.

I can't spoil anything for you because I'd have to watch it again to remember the details, which is great honestly because it means I can watch this movie again soon if I'd like simply because I don't remember the outcome even before watching it again.

I don't remember the dog you mentioned btw, but then again, I don't have to watch out for huge shepherds to jump to the tv or bark the whole street awake :) lol

Let me know if you watched it and if you enjoyed it :)

I took my boys to a Globetrotters game when they were young. Not a basketball fan but I may give Sweetwater a go!

Thanks for the heads-up about this week's contest! I missed it, but it is in the Ecency Discord channel now!

we have not seen Game Night either, so no opinion on it. would like to see what people who have seen think of it. Also, HBO Max - we don't have it.

Renfield - when we saw the trail of it a couple weeks back, my Bonnie Bride both agreed, for us, it's a pass. Maybe some people will enjoy it, not our cup of tea...or bottle of Scotch.

Thank you for the CINE Tokens and ECENCY Points. Excellent work with the newspaper. I have heard very good reviews of the comedy Game Night, but I have yet to see it. Best regards.
