Cine TV Community Spotlight #34
Hello and welcome to the 34TH edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.
And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest, but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.
So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: Carnival Row
I feel like the series showed us the nature of both humans and Fae. The envy, the want for power, and the need to survive, even at the detriment of others. Carnival Row was really a great watch for me. The graphics, the costumes, the cinematography, the entire script, and plot were all genius. I have always been a fan of fantasy, so trust me when I say that seeing people with insect wings like fairies made so real take flight gives me a great thrill.

Title: Madame Webb
First of all, the story seemed like a good one at the start, but as you progress, you find yourself asking "why does the story feel so half assed." Things just kept on happening, and there was no particular reason for those things. It just had a weird vibe. And then they kept bringing attention to connections that will end up not being announced. Then the villain of the story. The acting of a large part of the characters was cringe, but of all the cringeworthy acting I watched, his cringeworthy acting was...

Title: When Life Gives You Tangerines
Without fear of being wrong, the South Korean series titled "If Life Gives You Mandarins" is the best thing I've seen this year and I don't think any series can beat it. If you like stories about life and the drama that is supposed to live and all that it takes for us to be happy, you have to watch it. I am falling in love with this kind of productions not because their male protagonists are beautiful and attractive, but because their dialogues are authentic, full of meaningful content for whoever watches them, that even if you are not looking for it, it makes you reflect.

Title: The Diplomat
Although the movie is not very long but I can say with confidence that your time will not be wasted and when you watch the last scene of this movie, you yourself will become emotional. I am surprised that I came to know about this case after watching the movie, whereas how it happened in 2017 but I did not know about it at that time. I feel that if film producers and directors start making movies based on real life stories, then society will get to know about many things and we will get information about those things which perhaps are not shown to them on time...

Title: The Man From Earth
I just love it when pure cinematics gold drops on my laps.
Like I don't go searching, the ideal situation would be me just doom scrolling on Instagram and see a clip or a scene of a movie and I know yes, this one glitters and it is gold.
And that's what just happened here!ething characteristic of post-apocalyptic series...

Title: Ana's Decision
This is where the biggest question arises for me: How is it possible to conceive a child to save the other? The mother, a lawyer named Sara, does everything possible to save her daughter Kate, but at the expense of her other daughter, Anne. To me, it's contradictory. But looking at it from Kate's perspective, I think she was the best mother in the world because she wanted to save her at all costs. So much so that her mother fought a legal battle against her own daughter, Anne, to get her to continue acting as her daughter's donor in an attempt to save her daughter...

Title: The Mother
It has been all about our mothers this week and trust me guys, these humans are worth celebrating. Seeing the prompt for the week, the very first movie that came to mind was a Netflix movie "The Mother" just got to know it was released in 2023 but i got to see it February 2025. The movie "The Mother" is really an exceptional movie showing the length a mother can go for one that she birthed.
And there you have it! Congratulations to all those spotlighted this week. We look forward to more exceptional content. And to everyone posting in the community, we look forward to seeing more of you around.
