CineTV COMMUNITY NEWSPAPER | #25

Welcome to this week's new CineTV Community Newspaper. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Now let's sit back and relax a bit with our weekly newspaper!

CINE COMMUNITY UPDATE

Welcome to a new CineTV Community Newspaper! I honestly hope you didn't expect me to write a whole list of new Community Updates this week. If that's what you expected or hoped for, I'm sorry to disappoint you. The only thing I can tell you this week is that a Dev Meeting has already taken place, and that it also went very well. Unfortunately for all of you, this didn't lead to a sneak peak this week. Let's just say you owe that sneak peak. And hopefully we'll be able to provide community updates again soon that also show that we're making progress. It may not seem so, but it is. In the meantime, we have a well-deserved Summer Silence in terms of Community updates. Time for you to pay extra attention to the writing prompts that you can find on our Twitter.

If you haven't seen it yet, our writing prompts have been reformatted. Our Social Media Manager, @thisismylife, is killing it again. The writing prompts have now been given a completely neutral layout on twitter. All you get is a "Keyword".

It's up to you to swing a phenomenal blog online. Which movie(s) do you think of when you hear the keywords. Every day you see a new prompt on Twitter. The last is:

Empowerment

If you'd like to find the other writing prompts to see if there's anything you're interested in, I'd like to refer you to our Twitter account .

Now that we shared the most important community news. Let's move on to our Contest!

CINE CONTEST UPDATE

Everybody likes to party, right? We already thought so! We gave you the theme for this weeks contest, now it's up to you to convince us with YOUR story about that one movie that has stuck with you the most! And while you're busy writing the best blog of all, don't forget to tell us what appealed to you so much in the film. What makes that one film so special to you.

This week we're looking for your favorite party movie Let's get this party started, but don't forget to check the contest rules before placing your entry. You still have two days to participate in this contest. The submission deadline is 26th July, 2022, 11:59 PM, UTC time.

As you know by now, We love to read your personal stories, not only blogs written for the contest. Why is that one movie or series so special to you? What impact has it had on you? Did a movie or series change your mind about certain things? Just to name a few examples.

Now that we said that, let's move on!

And of course, feel free to browse over all blogs written under the #cinetv tag. There are so many awesome blogs, and if your blog is not highlighted that does not mean it is not awesome. We appreciate each and everone of you, who takes the effort to write up a unique, original blog with movie or tv-related content.

ALONE TOGETHER

Katie Holmes is back on the silver screen! Fans can enjoy her acting in a romantic drama. In this film, Katie plays a role that many people can identify with. Everyone has felt the need to escape the lockdowns of recent times. In Alone Together, that's exactly what Katie does. Unfortunately for her, this doesn't go as planned. To know if this will end well, you will have to see the film.

THE GRAY MAN

If you like Suspense Thriller movies, The Gray Man is your movie! Ryan Gosling and Billy Bob Thornton amongst others are the stars of this movie.

In short, CIA, psychopaths, and hair-raising chases.

BULLET TRAIN

A train full of assassins. Who is after whom, and who can still be trusted? After seeing this film, a train journey may never have the same meaning for you again. Brad Pitt shows another example of his versatile acting.

MOVIE & CELEBRITY GOSSIPS

One of my favorite parts of the weekly newspaper. The juicy gossip! I can't help it, I think it's one of the "guilty pleasures", which I will never admit after today. Because like everyone else, I always pretend that I'm not interested in that at all.

Like every week I enjoyed the gossip, but like every week I am very happy that I can walk away from my PC and live my own life anonymously. In peace! No journalists on my doorstep trying to retrace all my steps. No hordes of people screaming after me when I walk down the street. And no peeping eyes when I walk the dogs down the street and let out an expletive when one of the dogs surprises me with a hard tug on the leash.

I don't envy the Hollywood stars. Let me live happily in peace without Hollywood madness! How about you?

Enjoy your week

HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND WE WILL RETURN!

We like to point out the following note about plagiarism once again!

We have an entire team dedicated to finding AND reporting plagiarism and abuse. And be warned, we NEVER will tolerate plagiarized blogs. Not in plagiarized words, nor images!

We have seen some really great posts that failed to source their pictures and so we were not able to curate them properly. Remember to only post YOUR OWN words and to properly source the photos that you use that are not your own.

Plagiarism is THEFT and has no place in our CineTV family!

Thanks...we love you all!
